Tomorrow the management of Gewoon Rechtdoor will celebrate our first real race in division 3 by inviting our fellow managers to a VIP treatment at local race Alkmaar-Alkmaar.
The day will start early with a cheese tasting in the center of Alkmaar. A raffle for charity will decide which VIP can wave the flag in the officials' car for the start of the race.
During the 140km race the VIPs will be transported by luxery bus to Beverwijk, the Gewoon Rechtdoor HQ. There will be time to look at our (lack of) equipment and discuss relevant subjects in different focus groups.
Just in time for the finish the bus will take us back to Alkmaar, only a 30km drive through the tulip fields. The winner-ceremony will take place in about 24 hours from now. After that there will be obviously be a terrific lunch, where the ceremony girls will also be invited, so it is adviced to leave your wives and mistresses at home.
We hope to see you all tomorrow to cheer for either your own riders, the bookies favorites or Gewoon Rechtdoor rocket Gerben Fens of course!

Nice Frank. Looks like it will be quiet, so there will be enough delicious... uhm.. lunchitems to choose from ;)
I'll be there, good training for me to come by bike. (And travel without my wife)
